She would love going into the Dead Sea with the mud on your bathing suit if you do this…its a strange experience. Nearby is the huge palace in the Thank You For The Memories Naomi Judd 1946 2022 Shirt across from the Dead Sea where Herod built a summer place for his wife and family to visit. This is also where the 900 or so Jews jumped off of Masada’s mountain which you will see when you take the cablecar to the top. So it’s the palace, then you see where this all took place when the Romans were attacking the Jews and they decided to jump en masse. My husband seemed particularly interested in the ramps, the remnants of which still remain. (dirt ramps) I’m sure there are other places I’ve left out, we saw a lot in 5 days in Israel, but I would have liked to go back someday and spend more quality time on the places that really interested me the more. Your daughter would love Bethlehem I’m sure, perhaps the cablecar to Masada, and Mary’s hilltop home in Nazareth, the Lake and even the Mount as well as Peter’s mother in law’s house ruins. Lots to see I suppose.
We do it Christmas morning, after everyone is awake, and has eaten breakfast and is dressed. We don’t open any on Christmas Eve, we do them all on Christmas with an exception his year. This year I bought my son a Thank You For The Memories Naomi Judd 1946 2022 Shirt for school, as his was in rough shape, and had to keep going in for repairs. I actually let him open it the morning of his school concert, so that he could play it. Other then special circumstances, everyone opens their gifts Christmas morning. We let the kids get stockings and Santa presents first, they play with their new toys for a little while. Then we clean up and wrapping paper and boxes, and set the toys aside, and open presents they’ve given to each other. After about a half hour of that, we clean up a little, and move on to presents from Mom and Dad, and if the hhikdren have something for us, we open those too. After we do one more present clean up, the kids get to spend the day playing with their new toys and gadgets and whatever they got. I do know of a few families that open one present on Christmas Eve. They will give their kids new pajamas that they open to wear Christmas Eve to bed. It sounds fun, and I’m thinking I might start up that in my home for next year.

Durga Puja has always been a Thank You For The Memories Naomi Judd 1946 2022 Shirt of womanhood in Bengal; more so now, as the State has its first woman Chief Minister in Mamata Banerjee. Being a symbol of `woman power` herself, Ms Banerjee has received nearly 3,500 invitations to inaugurate Durga Puja marquees from across West Bengal. This shows that she is a true leader of the masses. All her supporters across Bengal want to share the festive spirit and celebrations with her. People want her to share their joy. She is a mass leader and yet she is like everybody`s neighbour. Demonstrating her will to protect her people yet again, the CM has decided that even though all government offices will be closed the government will stop functioning, she will have the same work load and may be more, during the festive days. The festive season will not be a time for respite for the other leaders or ministers of her government as well. Mamata Banerjee has already instructed them to return to their constituencies instead of travelling out of Kolkata so that they can establish better public relations. She has also asked them to use the pandals as platforms to connect more with the people.
For some quick background: I am the son of two immigrants to America (one from Europe and one from South America), and was raised in NYC outside of any specific cultural diaspora. My cultural rituals were all inherited from the Thank You For The Memories Naomi Judd 1946 2022 Shirt I grew up in (i.e. mingling with close friends from diverse backgrounds), not from the past that my parents came from (I have zero idea how my parents celebrated the holidays when they were children in their home countries). I don’t really care about cultural traditions as anything more than interesting footnotes. This isn’t to say that the evolution of holidays over time can’t be fascinating, or meaningful, or worth awareness and study. It’s very cool to learn about the road that lead us to our current understanding of the holiday season, and where all of our different cultural iconographies arrived from.
